ReOpening our ReStore!

Updated: Jun 19, 2020

UPDATE: We are now accepting cash!

We are excited to announce that we will be reopening to the public on Tuesday, May 12th at 10 am! To ensure a safe environment that protects everyone's health and wellness, we will be limiting the number of people in our ReStore at any given time, encourage all shoppers and donors to wear a face mask, and recommend that everyone follow all current CDC and state or county health guidelines. We will also be putting the following new safety measures in place (additional information below the infographic):

We anticipate our biggest change being how we receive and process donations.

For donors dropping off donations:

  • We will be unable to assist in unloading them from your vehicle.

  • Donors will have to unload donations in the designated area and our ReStore team will assess what we can and cannot accept.

  • The donor will have to retrieve any items that cannot be accepted for donation. ReStore staff will take care of accepted donations. Large items will be assessed prior to unloading.

For donors requesting pickup:

  • Our drivers will be unable to enter homes or businesses.

  • Donations must be left in either the garage,  driveway, or curbside for retrieval.

  • Drivers will wear masks and gloves and maintain 6 feet distance between themselves and the donor.

For all donors:

  • Due to the required 3-day quarantine of all fabric items, we will have limited capacity to accept them.

  • Once our storage capacity has been reached, we will be unable to accept fabric items and will provide you with alternative organizations who may be able to accept your items.

While we will be following all recommended CDC guidelines for the handling of our merchandise to the best of our ability, we are unable to guarantee the status of any of our items.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we transition to the new normal. We appreciate your continued support as we work together to build a community where everyone has a decent and affordable place to call home!
