Looking for the perfect accent lamp to tie your room together? Need a new washer and dryer, but don't want to spend what it would cost for a brand new set? Then think ReStore! We offer new and used furniture, appliances, home decor, building materials, and more at 50-70% off the retail price. Proceeds stay in our Greater Matthews community and are used to help build or repair housing for limited-income families.

questions & answers

how does shopping at the ReStore help Habitat?

When you shop at the ReStore, you do more than find a great deal. You help build a better community. All proceeds from the sale of ReStore items are used to advance our mission to help local families to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

are you open to the public?

Absolutely! We invite and encourage everyone to shop or donate to our ReStore.

where does your merchandise come from?

The majority of our merchandise is donated by individuals and local businesses. We occasionally carry a small inventory of products purchased for resale.

how are your items priced?

Most items start at 50% off their estimated retail price. The ReStore staff researches the current price of our merchandise at major retailers and asesses an item's condition before making it available on the sales floor.

are prices negotiable?

Our ReStore team makes every effort to ensure that we are offering competitive pricing on our merchandise. In addition, we offer weekly specials on select items, and a large portion of our inventory reduces in price each week. Therefore, since we believe we are offering customers a great value for their dollar, we do not negotiate on prices. Proceeds from ReStore sales directly impact our ability to help more families in need of decent, affordable housing.

can I return items?

All sales are final, except in the case of non-working appliances, on which we offer a 30 day warranty against technical malfunctions.

will you hold purchased items?

We will gladly hold purchased items for up to three ReStore business days. After that, items will be put back out for sale. The ReStore is not liable for damage to any merchandise left on hold in the store after purchase.

will you load my purchases into my car?

Due to a limited number of staff and volunteers, we are unable to assist in the loading of your purchased items. You must bring assistance for loading your items, and the ReStore is not liable to any damage to your items or vehicle in the loading process.

do you deliver?

We do not deliver. However, we can provide you with the contact information of third-party companies who have picked up and delivered items from our store.

if I call the ReStore, will someone measure an item for me ?

Due to a limited number of staff and volunteers, we do not have the capacity to measure items for customers. However, we do have tape measures available in store for you to borrow!

if I call the ReStore, can someone locate a particular item or price for me?

If you have seen a particular item advertised on Facebook, we will gladly let you know about the availability of that item. For general inventory questions, we recommend shopping in person, as our inventory is constantly changing and we cannot guarantee what we will have on any given day.
