Your Support Builds a Story

It's the story of a safe and affordable home.

It’s the story of kids playing in their own yard while mom or dad cooks in their own kitchen. It’s the story of everyday security and dreams for the future. It’s the story of an affordable home a family built themselves with help from Greater Matthews Habitat for Humanity, volunteers, and neighbors like you.

Perhaps it’s been a while since you’ve been in our Greater Matthews Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Shoppers find an ever-changing selection of reusable building materials, appliances, new and gently used furniture, and home accessories priced at a fraction of retail prices.

All merchandise is donated, diverting used materials from landfills while giving them a second life. Do you have items to donate? Call 704-845-2760 or visit our donation page for free pickup of larger items.

The Habitat ReStore Story is good for you, whether you are a do-it-yourselfer, a treasure hunter, or a professional contractor. It's also good for the environment. It’s an even better story for our community, as proceeds from sales of these items help us partner with families to build, rehabilitate and repair homes right here in the Matthews, Mint Hill, and Stallings communities.

Furthermore, your support expands throughout our community as more families achieve strength and stability through safe and affordable shelter.

Come visit us and be a star in the Habitat ReStore Story!
